What types of slots can I create?
You can create three types of slots:
Image or Video
HTML5 Content (via URL)
Programmatic
Each option supports different content delivery and monetization use cases.
What is the difference between Image/Video, URL, and Programmatic slots?
Image or Video – Static or video creatives uploaded directly to the platform.
URL (HTML5) – Content or ad server creatives delivered via a URL.
Programmatic – Dynamically requests ads from an ad server or DSP using predefined parameters.
What is a Slot Class and why is it required?
A Slot Class defines the type and behavior of the slot (for example, Linear).
It is mandatory and helps organize and control how slots behave within loops.
Where can I find the Slot ID?
You can find the Slot ID when:
Creating a slot (optional field)
Editing an existing slot via Quantum Loop → Manage Slots → Edit
If configured, the Slot ID is displayed in the slot configuration panel and is used to match the slot with deals that have the same Slot ID.
What is Slot ID used for?
Slot ID is optional
It links slots to specific deals
Only deals with a matching Slot ID can serve ads into that slot
This is useful when you want precise control over which deals can respond to a slot.
Can a slot be reused in multiple loops?
Yes ✅
Once created, a slot can be reused across multiple loops, enabling consistent playback and easier inventory management.
Can I edit a slot after creating it?
Yes.
You can update:
Slot Name
URL or URL parameters
Slot Class
Duration
Go to Manage Slots, locate the slot, click Edit, apply changes, and click Update.
What does “Playback Controlled by Asset” mean?
This setting determines whether:
The duration is automatically detected by the device, or
The duration is manually defined in seconds

From here, you can:
Create new loops
View existing loops
Edit loop details and slots
Delete inactive loops
What information is required to create a loop?
To create a loop, you must provide:
Name (mandatory)
Publisher
Active status
Once saved, you can immediately start adding slots.
Why is my loop inactive?
Common reasons include:
The Active toggle is OFF
The start or end date is incorrect or expired
✅ Tip: Always verify loop dates if a loop is not playing.
How can I view loop details?
Click View Loop from the Manage Loops page to see:
General information (publisher, status, dates)
Slot information and states
Scheduling (dayparts)
Targeting criteria and tags
How do I edit an existing loop?
To edit a loop:
Navigate to Quantum Loop → Manage Loops
Use filters to locate the loop by:
Loop name
Player name
Status (Active, Inactive, or All)
Click Refresh Data
Select Edit Loop
What can I edit inside a loop?
Within the loop configuration, you can:
Rename the loop
Edit or delete existing slots
Adjust scheduling and targeting
After making changes, click Save.
A confirmation popup will confirm that the loop has been successfully updated.
