Overview
Loops define the structured playback order of content on players using Quantum Loop.
Each loop contains one or more slots, which determine what plays, where it plays, and when it plays.
Unlike auction-based campaigns, loops follow a predefined order and timing set by the user.
The Manage Loops section provides tools to efficiently locate, review, and modify loops that your organization has created. You can filter loops by name, player, or status, and perform actions such as editing loop details, updating slots, viewing loop schedules, or deleting loops.
This functionality ensures that your loops remain accurate, properly scheduled, and targeted to the correct players, allowing for streamlined management of playback order, dayparts, and loop assignments across your network.
This article focuses specifically on editing and managing existing loops, including modifying loop and slot information, adjusting scheduling, and reviewing targeting settings.
Creating a Loop
Accessing the Loop Management Interface
Navigate to Quantum Loop in the main menu.
Select Manage Loops from the dropdown.
This opens the Loops overview, where you can view existing loops or create a new one.
Creating a New Loop
Click New Loop in the top-right corner.
In the creation window, provide the following details:
Name (mandatory) – Assign a unique and descriptive name to the loop.
Publisher – Select the organization under which the loop is created.
Active – Toggle ON to activate the loop immediately.
Click SAVE to confirm.
A confirmation popup will appear, indicating that the loop has been successfully created.
TIP 1: In the loop overview, you can find the visual organization of the slots and their classes. Important! Only inactive Slots and Inactive loops can be deleted.
TIP 2: If your loop is INACTIVE see if the start and end date are correct. This could be the reason for your Loop to be inactive
Here, except that you can create new loop, you can filter the data to find the loop, view/edit/delete the loop etc:
Manage Loops view
By clicking the View Loop button (as shown below), you can access a detailed overview of the selected loop.
Within this view, you will find:
General Information – Displays key details such as the publisher name, loop status, and the start and end dates.
Slot Information – Shows all slots scheduled within the loop, including their current states.
Scheduling Information – Provides an overview of the configured dayparts, indicating when the loop is played.
Targeting Information – Lists all assigned tags and targeting criteria that determine where the loop is delivered.
This view allows you to quickly review how the loop is structured, scheduled, and targeted across your inventory.
