Previously, deals containing underscore characters could not be edited. This issue has now been resolved, allowing users to update and save existing deals without errors.
4) Deal Name Best Practices
To ensure smooth operation and consistency, we recommend the following for Deal Names:
- Avoid special characters or symbols.
- Avoid spaces.
- Use letters, numbers, and hyphens (-) only.
- Keep Deal Names concise and meaningful.
Tip: When creating or editing deals, consider using the Overwrite Deal ID with Deal Name checkbox to ensure your deal identifier aligns with your naming conventions.
5) Hawk/Azerion Deals – Deal ID Guidance
For Hawk/Azerion deals, the deal identifier must follow this format:
LogicalName_PublisherUUID_Timestamp
- The Publisher ID must appear between the two underscores.
- Use the Overwrite Deal ID checkbox (☑️) to replace the current Deal ID with the Deal Name when necessary.
Following this ensures proper synchronization with integrated systems and avoids errors related to invalid Deal IDs.
